Hello Everyone,
Here is a link to the May Newsletter.
March was the worst month that we have seen for over a year. Only five Investment Association sectors, out of the 34 that we track each week, ended the month ahead of where they were when it started. That’s down from 13 in February and 32 in January.
April didn’t start well either – after the first few days, nearly all sectors were showing further losses. However, as the month progressed, the situation improved. By the end, half of the sectors that we monitor were showing positive one-month returns.

The best-performing sector was European Smaller Companies, up 3.3%, followed by Latin America, up 3.2%. At the other end of the spectrum, North American Smaller Companies went down by 5.3%, and China/Greater China lost 7.2%.

So far, this month is looking much more encouraging, with most sectors currently showing month-to-date gains, led by Technology & Technology Innovation and the North American sectors.
As always, I hope you enjoy this month’s newsletter, and I look forward to hearing any feedback
